Keith Priestley For State Representative 76 th District of Tennessee

McKenzie, TN– Today, Keith Priestley announces his candidacy for State Representative of the
76th District of Tennessee. The 76th House District encompasses all of Weakley County and
parts of Carroll and Obion Counties.
“I am excited about the prospect of serving as your State representative in the District I call
home. My roots run deep in the 76 th District. My family came to Weakley County in 1848 and 7
generations of Priestleys have called Weakley County home. From starting three small
businesses to serving our nation in the United States Navy and in the Tennessee Army National
Guard, I’ve always stepped up to lead rather than be led.”
Keith brings a wealth of church and community involvement to the race for the 76th District. He
has served as an elder at the McKenzie Church of Christ for 27 years. Keith is the former
President of McKenzie Banking Company/Foundation Bank, former President of the Carroll
County Chamber of Commerce and has served on many other community boards and
organizations.
“This race is about giving the hard-working families of the 76th District a representative with
common-sense conservative principles who is ready to listen to their needs, passionately
advocate for them in Nashville, and put their communities first. I am willing and I am ready. I’m
excited to begin this journey and earn every vote along the way.”
Keith Priestley’s platform covers a wide range of local and state issues. He believes in
promoting small businesses and cutting the red tape that stifles growth. He understands that
investing in education today creates a better tomorrow. He strongly opposes the government
takeover of our healthcare system. Keith is a staunch supporter of the 2nd Amendment and is a
card-carrying member of the NRA. He is a proven leader that brings a wealth of experience to
the 76 th District State Representative race.
“Calls and emails from friends and family across the district thus far expressing their support
have been very gratifying. Alongside my wife, Sherri [Richardson], and our three children-
Brents, Cara, and Brice, I humbly ask for your vote in the August 6th Republican Primary.
Together, we will make the 76th district the greatest District in Tennessee to get an education,
raise a family, and call home.”
