Kaitlyn French crowned homecoming queen at Central

Basketball players, managers, and cheerleaders at Hollow Rock-Bruceton Central High School were all recognized January 15 during pre-game homecoming ceremonies in the school gymnasium, concluding with the naming of this year’s homecoming court.

Receiving the crown as queen was senior Kaitlyn French, daughter of Brandy and Michael French.

A four-year player with the Lady Tigers basketball team, Kaitlyn was escorted by senior player Trent Taylor, son of Melissa and Ralph Taylor.

Kaitlyn is also a member of the Beta Club, History Club, Spanish Club, FBLA, FCA, and Chemistry Club.

Her crown was presented by Ava Finley, daughter of Chris and Julie Finley.

Trent was named as basketball homecoming captain.

Senior Rikki Grasser was named first maid.

The daughter of Tracy and Elvis Glover, Rikki was escorted by junior player Davion Harris, son of Leslie Jamison and Anny Harris.

Also recognized were:

*Managers: Aliyah Davis and Hannah Walker.

*Cheerleaders: Anna Batte, Maria McMackins, Maycee Cary, Kelsey Forrest, Kylie Hollingsworth, Jayden Tucker, Callie Bratton, Aubrey Gaia, and Ana Kate Welsh.

*Senior Players: Laegan Binkley.

*Junior Players: Brylee Williams, Mason Binkley, Skylar Castleman, Brayden Frye, Justin Haskins, and Gage Lowry.

*Sophomore Players: Nataeah Boyd, Sophie Bratton, McKayla Brawner, Malorie Clements, Naveah Davis, Savionna Foster, Mya Harris, Madison Johnson, Austin Craig, Thomas Crews, Noah Hampton, and Nick Zuro.

*Freshman Players: Mya McNeal, Olivia Newberry, Seneca Butcher, Tyler Forrest, Caleb Haskins, and Mac Hooten.
