Johnnie Wayne Clifton

Johnnie Wayne Clifton, 78, of Huntingdon, passed away on Saturday, April 17, at Baptist Memorial Hospital. There will be a private memorial service. Dilday-Carter Funeral home was in charge of these arrangements.
Mr. Clifton was born on August 31, 1942 in Carroll County to the late W.W. and Marie Clifton. He was a US Air Force Veteran, worked with his parents at the Western Auto Store, a trainman for CSX Railroad, and a member of First United Methodist Church .
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister, Barbara Branon.
He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Barbara Clifton; a daughter, Sandy (Byron) Hinchey of Huntsville, AL; a son, John (Yvette) Clifton of Cleveland; 5 grandchildren; 3 step-grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; and 2 step-great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to First United Methodist Church or American Cancer Society.
