Joe D. Hatley

Joe Dale Hatley, 76, of Hollow Rock, passed away Tuesday, Dec. 8, at McKenzie Healthcare and Rehab. Funeral services were held Friday, Dec. 11 in the Chapel of Bruceton Funeral Home with James Hazelwood officiating. Burial followed at Prospect Cemetery in Hollow Rock.
Mr. Joe Hatley was born on March 24, 19444 in Benton County to the late Clyde Wesley Hatley and Brownie Leola Tippitt Hatley. He was a member of Prospect Baptist Church and a retired heavy equipment operator for Tennessee Asphalt.
He was also preceded in death by a daughter, Angela Swanner; one sister, Margie Nell Ellis; two brothers, James Wesley Hatley, and Jerry Dewane Hatley.
He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Carol McAlexander Hatley of Hollow Rock; one son, Gregory L. (Theresa) Hatley of McKenzie; and two Grandchildren, Aaron Hatley and Bethaney Hatley.
Pallbearers who served were Dal Henry, Ricky Hatley, Theresa Hatley, Greg Hatley, Steve Cantrell, and Destiny Hatley.
