Joan Alexander Ballard, 89, passed away Friday, Sept. 3, peacefully at home surrounded by her family. A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, Oct. 8, from 5-7 p.m. at the Camden church of Christ. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to Camden church of Christ building fund.
Ms. Ballard was born April 7, 1932, in Decatur County, to the late Lute and Maudie Robbins Alexander. She was a member of the Camden church of Christ.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers and three sisters.
She is survived by four children, Jeff (Joyce) Ballard, of Antioch, Nea Paquet, of Loretto, Twyla Ballard, of Homestead, Fla. and Stacey (Michelle) Ballard, of Camden; a sister, Norma Dee Cook, of Paris; seven grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
