Jimmy E. Hollingshead

Jimmy Eugene Hollingshead, 80, of Huntingdon, passed away Friday, Dec. 8, at Henry County Medical Center. Funeral services were held on Monday, Jan. 11, in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home with Andrew Stokes officiating. A private family committal service with military funeral honors was held at West Tennessee State Veteran’s Cemetery.
Mr. Jimmy was born February 3, 1940 in Jackson to the late Cleavie Eugene Hollingshead and Lila (Hughes) Hollingshead. He was a retired Farmer, attended Clarksburg Baptist Church and served in the Air Force.
Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife, Hazel Hollingshead.
He is survived by two daughters, Kim Hollingshead, and Kathy Roberts, both of Huntingdon; one son, Kevin (Amanda) Hollingshead of Clarksburg.
He also leaves five grandchildren, Brittany Brown, Tristan Roberts, Brooke Roberts, Chad Hollingshead, and Chase Hollingshead.
