Jeffrey B. Williams

Jeffrey Brian Williams, 57, of Huntingdon, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 6, at St. Thomas West Hospital in Nashville. Funeral services were held on Friday, Oct. 9, at 1 p.m., at Huntingdon First United Methodist Church with Tim Atkins and Mark Carrigan officiating. Burial followed at Bethlehem Cemetery. Chase Funeral Home of Huntingdon was in charge of arrangements.
   Mr. Williams was born December 27, 1962, in Jackson, to Joan Vickers Williams, of Huntingdon, and the late Thomas D. Williams. He was a member of the Huntingdon First United Methodist Church, where he sang in the choir. He was an alum of Huntingdon High School, a graduate of the University of Tennessee at Martin and an avid sports fan, especially the University of  Tennessee Volunteers.
   In addition to his mother,  is survived by two sisters, Lezlie (David) Burden, of Paris, and Suzanne (Mark) Cunningham, of Huntingdon; a brother, Dan Williams, of Huntingdon; four nieces and nephews, Nikki (Chris) McCaslin, Clay (Nikki) Cunningham, and Dillon and Grace Burden, and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins. He also leaves two great nieces and two great nephews.
   Pallbearers who served were Tommy Belew, Mike Williams, Allen Simpson, Bob Williams, Tim Vickers, Norris Depriest, Thomas Williams and Chris Cole.
