James “Stine” Frank Edgin

Mr. James “Stine” Frank Edgin, 72, of Huntingdon, passed away Thursday, Nov. 7, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.

Funeral services were conducted on Saturday, Nov. 9, at 1 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Bro. Osker Seiber officiated the service.  Interment followed in the Hickory Flat Cemetery.

Pallbearers who served were Trevor Peevyhouse, Nathaniel Peevyhouse, Ethan Peevyhouse, Jimmy Edgin, Steve Barnett, and Bill Ober.  Honorary Pallbearer was Tommy Peevyhouse.

Mr. Edgin was born July 31, 1947 in Cedar Grove, to the late Edward Edgin and Eva Blankenship Edgin.  He was a Machinist for A. O. Smith and an Army Vietnam Veteran.  He was also preceded in death by two grandchildren; Chad Rodgers, Jared Rodgers and one brother; Joe Edgin.

He is survived by one daughter; Tina Peevyhouse (Tommy) of Huntingdon, one son; Jimmy Edgin (Cherie), and one sister; Betty McMinn (Prentice) both of Cedar Grove.  He also leaves three grandchildren; Nathaniel, Trevor, and Ethan Peevyhouse.
