Jackie Lewis Parham

1938-2019

Mr. Jackie Lewis Parham, 81 of Cedar Grove passed away Tuesday, August 13 at Life Care Center in Bruceton.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, August 15 at 2 P.M. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Bro. Doug Sellers and Bro. Jackie Smith officiated the service.  Interment followed in the Leach Seventh Day Adventist Cemetery.

Pallbearers who served were Damon Bomar, Eric Parham, Sean Bomar, Blanche Parham, Devin Watkins and Ethan Parham.

Mr. Parham was born July 25, 1938 in Cedar Grove to the late Lewis Clark Parham and Susie Elizabeth Parham. He was also preceded in death by a son, Johnny Parham. Mr. Parham worked for the State of Tennessee Forestry Division for 33 years.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Hettie Parham; two daughters, Debbie Watkins (Joe Ray) of McKenzie and Karen Williams (James) of McLemoresville; three sons, Charles Meggs of Cedar Grove, Mike Parham (Jo) of Huntingdon, Jeff Parham of Bruceton; a sister, Janice Watson (J.D.) of Huntingdon; four brothers, Billy Parham (Brooksie) of Huntingdon, Jimmy Parham of Bartlett, Ronnie Parham (Sandra) of Beecher, Ill. and David Parham (Cindy) of Huntingdon; five grandchildren Damon, Eric, Sean, Nikki and Devin and one step grandchild Sharon; four great grandchildren, Dylan, S.J., Wyatt and Conner and two step great grandchildren, J.J. and Danielle.
