Injuries result from two-vehicle wreck near McKenzie

Four people were injured in a two vehicle wreck near McKenzie at the intersection of Highways 22 and 124 Feb. 3 at 9:10 a.m.

Injured were Misty Goodman, 42, of McKenzie and Nikky Hampton, 47; Jennifer Hampton, 43; and Loville  Hampton, 92, all of Trezevant.

According to a report from the Tennessee Highway Patrol , Goodman, driving a 2015 Chevy Malibu, was northbound on Highway 22 and was attempting to turn left onto Highway 124. Hampton, driving a 2004 Chevrolet Malibu, was southbound on Highway 22 when Goodman turned left in front of Hampton’s vehicle. Jennifer Hampton and Lovable Hampton were passengers in the Hampton vehicle.

Goodman’s vehicle came to a final stop in a ditch on the west side of the roadway. Hampton’s vehicle came to a stop in the southbound lane on the highway.

All persons involved were wearing their seat belts.

The vehicles were heavily damaged.
