Huntingdon Wendy’s employee killed in accident

An employee of Wendy’s in Huntingdon has been killed in a one-vehicle accident on Sanders Store-Milan Road between Milan and Gibson.

The employee, Markeevious Nolan, 19, was a passenger in a 2000 Buick Les, driven by Martavious Street, 21, of Humboldt.

Markeevious’ address was given as Humboldt, but according to a co-worker, he resided with his father in Atwood.

He worked at the drive-through window during the evening and night shift.

The accident took place early Tuesday morning, according to the report by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

The vehicle went off the left side of the road, overcorrected, and spun clockwise multiple times before striking a tree on the passenger side. The vehicle came to a final rest against a tree facing northwest.

Street was injured, but the extent of his injuries is not known at this time. Neither one was wearing a seatbelt, according to the report.
