Theft

•Joseph Forrest, 30, of 120 Bridgeman, Lot #4, Huntingdon, was charged with theft of merchandise under $1,000 on Sept. 12 in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Richard Crossno, he responded to Walmart in Huntingdon and was advised by store security that a person later identified as Forrest had attempted to take items out of the store without paying for them by concealing them in his clothing. The items were valued together at around $40. When security personnel approached Forrest, he discarded the items and left the store. Crossno later made contact with Forrest, who allegedly admitted to the incident.

Public Intoxication

•Chelsea Nicole Lancaster, 26, of Paris was cited for public intoxication on Oct. 12 in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Brad Allen, he responded to Walmart in Huntingdon regarding a possibly intoxicated customer. Upon arrival, Allen made contact with Lancaster in the parking lot near her vehicle. Allen noted that Lancaster appeared to be under the influence of a controlled substance and/or intoxicant. Lancaster was taken into custody and transported to Carroll County Jail and cited into General Sessions Court.
