Huntingdon Police Reports


•Melissa A. Treadway, 32, of Huntingdon was charged with theft of merchandise under $1,000 on March 8 at Walmart in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Michael Verner, he responded to a call at Walmart about a female shoplifter in the store. Verner noted that Treadway had been seen shoplifting in the store on the previous day. Verner made contact with Treadway in the checkout line and placed her under arrest. Items valued at $20.30 were found in Treadway’s purse.

•The HPD is investigating a recent theft at a local business.

According to the report by Officer Ethan Parham, he responded on March 7 to Dollar General Store in Huntingdon regarding a theft. An employee told Parham that two women entered the store at around 1:50 p.m. and left at around 3 p.m., and that during this time, the two women took multiple DVDs and two chairs from the store without paying for these items. The employee said that she believes they took more items while outside the view of security cameras. Parham reviewed video footage of incident.

Theft, Drugs

•Kisha Moudy, 35, of Huntingdon was cited for theft of property and simple possession of schedule IV on March 6 at Walmart in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Labe Ezell, Moudy placed items in her bag in the self-checkout line without scanning them and also switched tickets on numerous items she was checking out. The total amount of all these items was $205.88. All the items were returned, and no restitution is due. While searching Moudy’s purse, Ezell found 17 Xanax pills in an unlabeled bottle, and Moudy said she did not have a prescription for them.
