Indecent Exposure

•Michael S. Laisle of 12996 Paris Street, Huntingdon, was charged with indecent exposure following an Aug. 24 incident at his residence.

According to the report by Officer Aaron Patton, he and other officers responded to Paris Street after receiving a call about a man exposing himself to children. In the course of the investigation, officers determined that Laisle exposed his genitals to two children at a neighboring residence and that he had reportedly done this on multiple occasions. Officers were shown a photo of Laisle appearing completely nude.

DUI

•Carolyn Cooper Scott of 536 Walnut Avenue West, McKenzie, was charged with DUI (first offense) following an Aug. 23 traffic stop in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Labe Ezell, he pulled over a red 2011 Kia Soul driven by Scott after observing the vehicle traveling the wrong way on a one-way street near the intersection of Paris Street and Jones Street. Ezell reported that Scott’s speech was slurred, she was unsteady on her feet, and she admitted she had been drinking at a bar. Scott refused to perform field sobriety tests or take a blood-alcohol test.

License Violation

•Tracey D. Binion of 184 Spring Street, Huntingdon, was cited for driving on a revoked license following an Aug. 23 traffic accident in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Zachery Barker, he responded to a single-vehicle accident in the Wal-Mart parking lot and found that vehicle driven by Binion had struck a pole. A computer check showed that Binion’s license was revoked for a prior DUI conviction.

License, Tag Violations

•Douglas Royal (address not provided) was charged with driving on a revoked license (fifth offense) and improper display of tags during an Aug. 18 traffic stop in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Angela Barker, she was monitoring traffic at the four-way stop on Buena Vista Road when she observed a vehicle without a visible tag. Barker pulled the vehicle over and identified the driver as Royal, who told Barker that his license was revoked. A computer check confirmed that Royal’s license was revoked for a prior DUI conviction.

Leaving The Scene

•Ceara Paige Pickett of 270 Miller Road, Huntingdon, was cited for leaving the scene of an accident following an Aug. 17 traffic incident in Huntingdon.

 According to the report by Officer Brad Allen, he responded to a hit-and-run accident on Buena Vista Road. The victim told Allen that a small blue SUV had struck his Dodge Ram truck and then left the scene. After receiving a tip that Pickett was the driver of the blue SUV, Allen went to her residence and spoke with her. Pickett told Allen that she was the driver of the SUV and that she got scared after hitting the other vehicle and decided to drive home.

Simple Assault

•Elfie McCorry of 225 Clarks Street, Huntingdon, was charged with simple assault following an Aug. 17 incident in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Zachery Barker, McCorry assaulted Alexander Tomaszewicz by punching him in the face when Tomaszewicz asked him to leave his property. Upon arrival at the scene, Barker observed that Tomaszewicz had a busted lip that was bleeding. Tomaszewicz refused medical treatment. McCorry had fled the scene prior to Barker’s arrival.

Multiple Charges

•Roger Hollowell of 1355 Leach Road, Cedar Grove and Monica Davenport of 6390 Old Stage Road, Huntingdon, were both charged with multiple charges Aug. 12 at Walmart in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Labe Ezell, he responded to a call about a male and female shoplifting at Walmart. Upon arrival, Ezell found Davenport with outside the store with security personnel. Hollowell had fled out of the garden center, setting off the security alarm, but was apprehended soon thereafter in a vehicle in the parking lot. A marijuana pipe and an illegal pair of metal knuckles was found in Hollowell’s possession. A search of Davenport’s person and the vehicle yielded stolen items from Walmart, four grams of methamphetamine, six Xanax pills, 5.5 grams of marijuana, and numerous items of drug paraphernalia. Ezell noted that both Hollowell and Davenport had been caught on camera either stealing items or switching tags on items at Walmart on Aug. 6.

Criminal Trespassing

•Debbie E. Brewer of 126 Voss Lane, Huntingdon, was charged with criminal trespassing Aug. 8 on private property in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Officer Kodie Edwards, he and another officer responded to a call about a domestic dispute at 210 Old Stage Road. No one came to the door when officers knocked, and then they heard a noise coming from the barn. While investigating the noise, officers found Brewer hiding behind a lawn mower beside the shop. Officers determined that Brewer was trespassing on the property.
