Harold T. Brou, Jr. 1937-2023

Harold Theodore Brou, Jr, 85 of Cedar Grove, passed away Monday, February 6, at Jackson Madison County General Hospital.Funeral services were held on Tuesday, February 14, at Holy Family Catholic Mission Church with Herbert Ene officiating. Burial followed in the West Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery at Parkers Crossroads.

Mr. Brou was born March 13, 1937, in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Harold Raymond Brou and Sally (Payton) Carter. He was a supervisor for the City of Los Angeles, owner and operator,  of Teddee’s Catfish and Café, a member of Holy Family Catholic Mission Church, a member of Southern Crusiers Riding Club Golden Circle in Jackson, Tennessee, Shutterbug Camera Club.

Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 19 years, Bernadita Brou, two daughters, Jennifer Brou of Huntingdon, Karen Wise (Curtis) of Jackson, two sons, Kirk Brou (Sheri Bank-Brou) of Fresno, California, Jonathan Brou (Martha) of Huntingdon, four sisters, Julia Ann Collins of Los Angeles, California, Sarah Rodrique (Charles), Jeanette Allen (Joseph), both of Alhambra, California, and Sharon Carter of Duarte, California. He also leaves twelve grandchildren, Jordan K. Brou, Cydney Wise, Nathan Goble, Thaiesha Brou, Taylor Brou, LaNisha Brou, Dominuque Brou, Jordan J. Brou, Evelyn Brou, Lonzell Dixon, Bradley Allen (Erika), and Brittany Griffith (Patrick), and ten great- grandchildren.

Pallbearers who served were Levi Vazquez, Eric Moore, Tyrone Tony Reed Jr, Jeff Nichols, Frank Dodd and Tom Mills.
