Haley Brasfield, a 17-year old McKenzie High School senior, is Miss McKenzie 2021. She was chosen Saturday night in a high school band sponsored beauty revue and crowned by the 2019 Miss McKenzie Amber Eason. There was no pageant in 2020 due to COVID-19,
Haley’s parents are Stephen and Kayla Brasfield.
She has blond hair and brown eyes. She wore a gold studded straight dress. Her hobbies include playing soccer, being in pageants and spending time with her family and friends.
After graduation, she will attend Bethel University to play soccer and major in nursing. After college, she plans on working as a dermatological nurse.
Other members of the royalty include: first maid, Ashlyn Drewry, 17, a senior. She is the daughter of David and Mandy Drewry. She plans to attend UTM and major in business marketing and minor in graphic design. Second maid is Kaida Walton, a 14-year-old freshman, who is the daughter of Kathie Walton. In the future she wants to attend college and become a marine biologist.
Third maid is Katie Chesser, 15, a sophomore. Her parents are Samantha Chesser and Jason Chesser. Her future plans include attending college to play softball and then become a college coach. Freshman Kamryn Brewer, 14, is the fourth maid. She is the daughter of Lisa Weaver. In the future she plans on attending college and becoming a physiologist.
