Senior Greenlee Ellis Sharp, 17, was crowned Miss Huntingdon in a Saturday afternoon pageant sponsored by the high school band. Her parents are Michael and Tara Sharp.
She has auburn hair and brown eyes. She was wearing a black-laced, fitted gown with off the shoulder bell sleeves.
Other members of the royalty include first maid, Kaylan Belew; second maid, Lakin Pinson; and third maid, Brooklynn Hudson.
Greenlee says her favorite movie ia “A Dog’s Purpose” and her favorite book is “The Hunger Games.” Her favorite person is Morgan Wallen.
Her hobbies include spending time with family and friends, fishing, hunting, and reading books.
She is a member of the Beta Club, HOSA, Teen Health Council, Student Council, Math Club and Cross Country.
Kaylan, who is 18 and the daughter of Burton and Melinda Edwards and Philip Belew, is a senior. She has dark brown hair and blue eyes. She was attired in a pink gown that featured sequins, a silver waist band with a v neck.
Her favorite movie is “Beauty and the Beast” and her favorite book is “A Child Called It.” Her favorite people are her mother and Ms. Ginger Taylor. Her hobbies include cross country, cheerleading, track and field. She is a member of Student Council, Beta and FCS.
Lakin, a 17-year-old junior, is the daughter of Scotty and Nikki Pinson. She has blond hair and green eyes. She wore a navy gown that featured a sequined bodice and a straight skirt with a bottom flair. Her favorite person is her mom. Her favorite movie is “The Notebook” and her favorite book any that is authored by Kasie West. Her hobbies include being outside, spending time with family and friends, going with her mom to Memphis to shop, and working with her dad at Watson Lumber Co.
She is a member of HOSA, AB Club, yearbook staff, FFA, Teen Health Council. She has job shadowed at the vet clinic in Huntingdon and McKenzie.
Brooklynn, a junior, is the 17-year-old daughter of Dain and Angela Hudson. She has dark brown hair and brown eyes. She was attired in a white lace gown that featured a side slit in the skirt, long sleeves and rounded neckline.
Her favorite person is her little brother. Her favorite movie is “The Maze Runner,” and her favorite book is “The Room.”
Her hobbies include watching movies and hanging out with friends. She is a cheerleader and is a member of the AB Club and HOSA.
Emma Martin, who holds the title of Miss Delta Blues from a Memphis revue, served as master of ceremonies.
