General Sessions Report

HUNTINGDON – The following cases were heard in Carroll General Sessions Court on September 28 and 29.

Cases bound over to Carroll County Circuit Court were:

   Mason Storm Baker, Old Lavinia Road, Cedar Grove, Bound Over for METH – MFG, Deliver, Sale, Possession With Intent, Possession of Weapon – Convicted Felon, Possession Firearm – Intent To Go Armed-Dangerous Felony and Theft of Firearm.   

   James Barnhill, Holmes Street, Trezevant, Bound Over for Violation of Residential and Work Restrictions.

   Tristan John Roberts, Westport Road, Huntingdon, Bound Over for Unlawful Possession of Weapon.

The following cases resulted in guilty verdicts or guilty pleas:

   Charles Austill, Broad Street, Hollow Rock, Guilty of DUI – First Offense, $350 fine, 16 days jail, Supervised Probation for Remainder of Sentence and DUI School; Dismissed Charges of Driving While License Suspended and Drivers To Exercise Due Care.   

   Michael Avery, Kirk Road, Huntingdon, Guilty of Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, $150 fine, 120 days jail, and 7/28 supervised probation, can do sentence in jail or rehab; Dismissed Charge of Simple Possession/Casual Exchange.

   David Baca, Harshman Street, Rawlins, Wyoming, Guilty of DUI – Second Offense, $600 fine, 45 days jail, Supervised Probation for 10/15, May be released from Supervised Probation when all fines and costs are paid; Dismissed Charges of Driving While License Revoked – Due to prior DUI  conviction, Implied Consent Violation, Speeding and Registration Violation.

   Pamela Kay Baker, Carnal Road, Huntingdon, Guilty of Drivers License Violation, 30 days Unsupervised Probation and DSS for Speeding Violation; Dismissed Charges of METH – Possession or Casual Exchange and Speeding.

   Walter Bradley Bartholomew, Murray Lane, Huntingdon, Guilty of Domestic Assault, 30 days jail, Report by 10/14/22, Supervised Probation for 10/27, and No contact with victim; Dismissed charge of Violation of Protective Order – Conditions of Release.

   Tequila Bonds, Peggy Lane, Atwood, Guilty of DUI – First Offense, $350 fine, 48 hours jail, Supervised probation for remainder of sentence, DUI School, Credit for time served, sentence may be served on weekends; Dismissed Charges of Implied Consent Violation, Financial Responsibility Law Violation, and Speeding.

   Shawn Bradley, Bridgeman Street, Huntingdon, Guilty of Probation Violation, 11/29 jail sentence, Sentences to run concurrently; Dismissed Charges of Failure To Appear (three counts), Driving While License Revoked – 2nd or Subsequent Offense and Expired Registration.

   Joseph G. Cozart, Milan Heights, Milan, Guilty of Probation Violation and Failure To Appear, 30 days jail and 6 months Unsupervised Probation; Dismissed Charge of Failure To Appear.

   Joshua Allen Dailey, Crooked Street, Trezevant, Guilty of Probation Violation – Not Booked, 9 days jail and may be served on consecutive weekends: Dismissed Charge of Failure To Appear.

   Steven Scott Doest, Highland Drive, McKenzie, Guilty of Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, $150 fine, 15 days jail, Supervised Probation for Balance of sentence; Dismissed Charges of Aggravated Assault, Domestic Assault, and Assault – Bodily Injury.

   Thomas Edmiston, Hwy 22, Gleason, Guilty of METH – Possession or Casual Exchange, $750 fine, 30 days jail, and 10/29 Supervised Probation; Dismissed Charges of Driving While License Revoked – 2nd or Subsequent Offense Due to DUI Conviction, Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While in Possession of Methamphetamines, Light Law Violation, Financial Responsibility Law, and Driving Unregistered Vehicle on Highway.

   Rhonda Renee Hamilton, Pleasant Hill Road, Hollow Rock, Guilty of Theft of Merchandise – Up to $1,000, Jail sentence suspended, 180 days supervised probation if paid, no contact with retail business.

   Jarrid Wayne Sterling, Adell Street, Hollow Rock, Guilty of 2 counts Driving While License Revoked, 5 days jail for each count and Unsupervised Probation for remainder of sentence.

   Isiah G. Willis, Cheatham Street, Bruceton, Guilty of Criminal Trespassing, jail sentence suspended, no contact with retail business, and Unsupervised Probation for Balance of Sentence; Dismissed Charge of Criminal Trespass.

   Dossie Lynn Wright, Alabama Street, McKenzie, Guilty of Criminal Trespass, jail sentence suspended, no contact with McKenzie Splash Pad and $60 restitution to City of McKenzie; Dismissed Charge of Vandalism Up To $1,000.

   Richard Lee Wyrick, West Drive, Huntingdon, Guilty of METH – Possession or Casual Exchange and Probation Violation, $750 fine, 150 days jail and Supervised Probation for Remainder of Sentence; Dismissed Charges of Schedule II Drugs, Driving Without License, Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, and Light Law-Motor Vehicle.

   Carlos Prohia Yero, NW 73rd Street, Miami, Florida, Guilty of METH – Possession or Casual Exchange, $750, 30 days jail, Balance Unsupervised Probation; Dismissed Charges of Fugitive From Justice – Felony, Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia, Driving While License Suspended, and Speeding.

The following case was granted pre-trial or judicial diversions:

   Garth Alan Birdwell, Hemlock Street, Bruceton, Pre-Trial Diversion for Public Intoxication, Pay Court Cost with Case Review Date 11/2/22.

The following cases were dismissed:

   Adison Gerard Boe, Penn Court, Murfreesboro, Dismissed Charges of Driving While License Dismissed and Expired Registration.

   Whitney Doest, Highland Drive, McKenzie, Dismissed Charges of Possession of Unlawful Drug Paraphernalia and Resisting Arrest (No Weapon).

   Alisha Marie Evans, Marquette Avenue, Camden, Dismissed Charge of Failure To Appear.

   Cathy Fitzgerald, Homeless, Dismissed Charge of Criminal Trespassing.

   Samuel Evan Gregory, Homeless, Dismissed Charge of Criminal Trespassing.

   Erik Shaw Holbrook, Hwy 118, Dresden, Dismissed Charge of Theft of Merchandise – Up To $1,000.

   Charles Luke Mitchum, N. Main Street, McKenzie, Dismissed Charges of Reckless Endangerment – Vehicle/Felony, Evading Arrest, Speeding, and Expired Drivers License.

   Patrick Thomas Noah, Bluebird Lane, Huntingdon, Dismissed Charges of Evading Arrest Flight – Vehicle and Reckless Endangerment – Vehicle/Felony.
