Fillies win three straight to start season

The Huntingdon High School Fillies started their softball season off on a positive note as they won all three games they played this past week.

All three wins were district wins as the Fillies won over Clarksburg 17-1 and swept a doubleheader against Big Sandy 15-0 and 15-0.

Rylee Holladay was the winning pitcher in the Fillies win over Clarksburg as Olivia Carter was 2-2 at the plate with a HR and two RBI’s and Kenadie Gibson was 1-2 with a 3B and two RBI’s.

In the Fillies 15-0 win in the first game of the doubleheader over Big Sandy, Adalyn Allen was the winning pitcher. Gibson was 2-2, with a 2B and 3B and two RBI’s, and Kayla Pulling was 2-2.

In the second game, also a 15-0 win, Natalie Kreuziger pitched two innings for the win and struck out six. Holladay was 2-2 and drove in four and tripled. Kelby Crossno was 1-2 with two RBI’s, and Kensley Brockman was 1-1 with a 2B and two driven in.
