The Huntingdon Fillies soccer team finished another successful season with a second-place finish in the district tournament and earned a region berth for the second year in a row for a program only in its second year of existence. The Fillies started the district tournament with a 7-1 win over Trenton as senior Kyleigh Carter scored four goals giving her 30 goals for the season. The Fillies then played Madison Academic for the district title and lost 9-0. Ashlyn Rich recorded 13 save in the loss. The Fillies will play at Adamsville to begin region play on October 18 on the road.
Earning all-district honors for the Fillies were Kyleigh Carter, Juli Harris, Kailey Lord and Lydia Boals. Ashlyn Rich was named the Defensive player of the Year for the district. The Fillies are coached by Lindsey Barnett.
