Fillies earn title with win over McKenzie

The Huntingdon Fillies added another title to their trophy case as they defeated McKenzie Friday 55-29 in a week that saw them win all three of their games and finish the regular season at 23-4 and 10-0 in district play. The Fillies will start the district tournament as the number one seed and earned a first-round bye which automatically gives them a region berth. The Fillies started their week with a 55-36 win over Camden on Monday and a 56-22 win over Clarksburg on Tuesday.

The Mustangs finished their week and regular season schedule with a hard-fought loss 57-50 to McKenzie after winning earlier in the week 53-48 over Camden and 65-34 over Clarksburg.
