The 2022 Miss Fairest of the Fair royalty was crowned Sept. 19 at the Carroll County Civic Center. The queen is Brooklyn Polinski, 18, of Atwood, daughter of Jessica Estes and Tony Polinski. She was crowned by Anna Claire Batte of Bruceton, 2019 Fairest of the Fair, who is a student at UTM. There has not been any pageants since 2019 at the fair.
Brooklyn is a freshman at Jackson State Community College and is a graduate of West Carroll High School. She has plans to become a registered nurse.
She has green eyes and blond hair. She was attired in a long white dress with an attached train. It was fashioned with a V neckline and beads of various colors on the bodice.
Her mother, the former Jessica Eubanks was Miss Fairest of the Fair 21 years ago.
Brooklyn was asked by the judges who was her favorite person.
She said it was her granny.
“She takes care of the family,” she said.
Brett Toombs,16, daughter of Casey and Johnna Toombs of McKenzie is first maid.
She has blond hair and green eyes and is a junior at McKenzie High School.
She wore a long gold sheath dress that featured a side split and V neckline. In the future she wants to
become an ultra sound tech.
She was asked by the judges what she liked about the people of Carroll County.
“I love the people of Carroll County and if you ever needed anything it would be provided.”
