Egg Drop April 1 at McKenzie City Park

April 1 will be a big day at McKenzie City Park when 50,000 Easter eggs will be drooped from the air. This is the second Annual Easter Egg Drop.

There will be balloon twisting, face painting, food truck, jumpy houses, Easter Bunny, candy and lots of picture props.

The helicopter will start the event at 9 a.m. with the egg drop.

The age categories are from 0 – 10 years old. The 0-2 age group hunt begins at 9:30 a.m. followed by the age 3-4 egg drop at 10 a.m. The 5-7 age group hunt starts at 10:30 a.m. The final hunt is at 11 a.m. for ages 8-10.

BeBe’s Biscuits, Sally Lane’s Candy and MelRhea’s Balloon Creations will be there.

The event is sponsored by McKenzie Chamber of Commerce & Industry, Allegion, Haven Steel Products, Inc., McKenzie Banking Co., and Cachengo.

There will be no egg hunt at Veterans Park in Huntingdon this year.
