Edward “Eddie” Odell Crider

1944 – 2020

Mr. Edward “Eddie” Odell Crider, 75, of Huntingdon, passed away Sunday, Feb. 2,  at the Huntingdon Health and Rehabilitation Center.

Memorial services were conducted on Saturday, Feb. 8, at 2 p.m. in the Chapel of Chase Funeral Home.  Bro. Tim Parish officiated the service.  Interment followed in the Palmer Shelter Cemetery.

Mr. Crider was born July 4, 1944 in Oak Ridge, to the late Kenton Odell Crider and Anna Mae (Barefoot) Crider.  He was an instructor for Tennessee College of Applied Technology and served in the Air Force during Vietnam.  He loved aircraft, flying small planes and worked part time at Carroll County Airport.  He was also preceded in death by one brother, Kenneth Crider, two sisters, Joyce Crider, and Mildred Armstrong.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Linda Ann Crider, one daughter, Nancy Crider of Huntingdon, three sisters, Linda Hollowell (Bobby), June Crider, both of Huntingdon, Samantha Jane Crider of Buford, Ga., one sister-in-law, Lavonda Crider of Huntingdon, and one brother, Connie Crider (Janice) of Sharon.  He also leaves one granddaughter, Samantha McPherson and several nieces and nephews.
