Easter Egg Hunt winners take home bikes, baskets

Approximately 50 youngsters between the ages of  0 – 10 years of age had fun  at the Farmtastic Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 3rd, between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m.at four different businesses in Huntingdon and McKenzie. The event was sponsored by Carroll County News-Leader and True Country 100.9 The Farm radio station.

Participating businesses were Carroll Farmers Co-Op and McKenzie Medical Center in Huntingdon and Spellings Collision Repair in McKenzie.

After the hunt was over and all the Easter eggs had been collected, it was onto Peppers’ Ford in McKenzie for the announcement of the winners and the awarding of the prizes.

Golden egg winners were announced in three age groups: 0-3, 4-6, and 7-10. The winner in each group took home a bicycle and large Easter basket.

In the 0-3 age group, Klaire Wales of Huntingdon was the winner. Axzaria Morris of Huntingdon took home the prizes in the 4-6 year old group and Markala Buckley of Huntingdon won in the 7-10 age group.

Other participants also won prizes.
