Friday, September 9 was a great day for the annual golf scramble to benefit Habitat for Humanity of Carroll County. Since our griller was out of town everyone enjoyed a sack lunch from Chick-Fil-A. At noon the scramble began and 13 teams enjoyed a round of golf to help a good cause. This year we had 13 team sponsors and 17 hole sponsors. The team sponsors were Huntingdon Termite and Pest Control , Carroll Bank & Trust, Raymond James Financial, Gleason Team, Mrs. Paul Atkins team, Home Medical Products, Inc., Dr. Keith & Debbie Atkins team, Bethel University, Granges, Centennial Bank, Taylor Real Estate and Auction, Maddox Insurance and Profile Metals. The hole sponsors were Huntingdon Veterinary Clinic, West Tennessee Public Utility District, Carroll County Officials, Carroll Bank & Trust, Watson Lumber, Karrington & Neely Atkins, Huntingdon Termite & Pest Control, Bank of Gleason, Johnsonville TVA Credit Union, Home Medical Products, Inc. (2 holes), Bethel University, Carroll County Electric Department, City of McKenzie, Taylor Real Estate and Auction, First Bank and Granges.
We cannot express our appreciations for our sponsors. We are planning on starting our 23rd house in McKenzie this fall. If you or your business would like to help please call Becky at the Habitat office at 731-986-5900.
