Mrs. Dorotha Marie
Edwards, 83, of Hollow
Rock, passed away Thursday,
April 9, at Lakeside
Retirement Community near
McKenzie.
Mrs. Edwards was born on
March 29, 1937 in Henderson
to the late Jesse Leo Thomas
and Thelma Esra Thomas.
She was a member of Hays
Ave. Methodist Church and a
retired seamstress and
secretary for H.I.S. She was
preceded in death by her
husband, Lawrence Kenneth
Edwards and a brother,
Bobby Leo Thomas. She is
survived by one daughter,
Teresa (Dwight)
Hollingsworth of Bruceton,
one sister, Diane Hayes of
Parsons, and one
granddaughter, Jessie
(Dustin) Patterson of Hollow
Rock.
Family graveside services
were held Saturday, April 11,
at 11:30 a.m. at Crossroads
Cemetery where internment
followed. Bro. Steve
Whitworth officiated.
Pallbearers were: Billy
Howe, Dustin Patterson, Tim
Higdon and Jake Wortham.
Bruceton Funeral Home was
in charge of the
arrangements.
