Della Rich

Della Rich, 91, of Huntingdon passed away Saturday
August 14 at daughter’s home.
Funeral services were held Tuesday, August 17 in the
Chapel of Dilday-Carter Funeral Home. Burial followed in Bethel
Cemetery. Judge Donald Parish and Tim Parish officiated.
Mrs. Rich was born August 11, 1930 to the late Elie Elmer Smith and Lou
Jeanettie McMurtry Smith. She was a retired sewing machine operator for
Publix shirt; preceded in death by her husband Raymond Jackson Rich Sr.
who passed away September 23, 2003; two brothers Lee Smith and William
“Wink” Smith; three sisters Mae Greer, Ruby Smothers and Hazel Britt;
two granddaughters Tammy Rich and Tracy Wilson; one son-in-law Pug
Williams.
She is survived by one daughter Debby Williams of Huntingdon;
three sons Raymond (Meletha) Rich Jr. of White Bluff, Jimmy
(Patricia) Rich of Stanton, and Dennis (Linda) Rich of
Huntingdon; 12 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and 13
great-great-grandchildren.
