DA’s office looking into Gregory Hicks’ death

The death of Gregory Lynn Hicks, 49 of Camden, is being reviewed by the 24th Judicial District Attorney’s Office following an investigation by the Tennessee Highway Patrol.

Hicks’ body was found in the roadway of Bruceton-Vale Road on July 31. The body was sent for an autopsy, but the results is not being released at this time. It is believed that he may have been struck by a vehicle, but no charges have been filed against anyone, according to assistant district attorney Jim Webb. The vehicle in question has been impounded.

Funeral services for Hicks were held Aug. 8 at Oakdale Funeral Home Chapel with burial in Crossroads Cemetery.
