Community Blood Drives for October 2022

LIFELINE Blood Services recently celebrated its 75th anniversary of hosting blood drives throughout West Tennessee to help patients. Team members gathered for a ribbon cutting to celebrate the anniversary. Team members are still encouraging residents across the region to donate blood when the LIFELINE Bloodmobile visits the following locations. All blood types are needed. October’s Bloodmobile visits are:

Thursday, Oct. 6: First United Methodist Church – Paris: 12-6 p.m.

Thursday, Oct. 6: Cash Saver – Huntingdon: 1-6 p.m.

Saturday, Oct. 8: Greenfield Fire Prevention Festival: 9 a.m. – 2 p.m.

Monday, Oct. 10: E.W. James & Sons – Martin: 12-6 p.m.              

LIFELINE is hosting two themed events at its locations in Dyersburg and Jackson. All donors will receive a themed “Vein Drain” T-shirt, Chick-Fil-A coupon and be entered for a chance to win tickets to the paintball Zombie Trail.

Dyersburg’s Vein Drain is 8 a.m. until 4 p.m on Saturday, Oct. 22, and from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 23 through Tuesday, Oct. 25. Dyersburg’s LIFELINE Blood Services is located at 1130 Hwy. 51 Bypass, Ste. 19 & 20, Dyersburg.

Jackson’s Vein Drain is Thursday, Oct. 27, from 9 a.m. until 6 p.m. LIFELINE Blood Services in Jackson is located at 183 Sterling Farms Dr., Jackson.
