Chili Cook-off determines the best of the best

Huntingdon First United Methodist Church held their third annual Chili Cook-off and Dessert Auction.  The judges, Sarah Townsend, Seth Bennett and Johnny Beth Nolen had to decide between 13 pots of chili who would go home with the coveted ‘Best Chili’ in Huntingdon award.  Winners in the Chili Cook-Off were first, Kay Douglas; second, Gene Penney and Brock Miller, third.

Ryan McDaniels auctioned off 40 of some of the finest and best-looking home-made desserts. Funds raised went to support the Methodist Youth Fellowship program at the church.

The highlight of the evening was the pie-in-the-face event.  Hayes Eubanks was ‘pied’ by Colt Luther and Cannon Heath was ‘pied’ by Andy Ward.
