Carl Perkins 3rd Annual Cruisin’ for a Cause

The Carl Perkins Center’s third annual Car and Bike Show will take place on Saturday, November 7, at the Venue at Waddell Place at 894 Joy Sparks Road in McKenzie.  Registration is from 8 a.m. until 12:00 noon.  You may pre-register at the Venue at Waddell Place Event Page on Facebook.  This event benefits the Carl Perkins Centers of Carroll and Henry Counties.  For more information, email [email protected] or call 731-415-8277.

 Carl Perkins Heroes Against Hunger Marathon-in-a-Month

Walk/run 26 miles in a month from November 1-November 30.  Walk/run from wherever you are!  This is an individual event, so social distance can still be maintained.

Registration fee is a canned donation to benefit the Carroll County Carl Perkins Child Abuse Center.

 Annual Chili Dinner

The Vale Volunteer Fire Department will host its annual chili dinner on Saturday, November 7, from 3-7 p.m. at the Vale Community Center at 26165 Highway 114 North.  Bake sale items are also available for purchase.  Social distancing practices are encouraged, so “to-go” orders are suggested.  For more information or to help, call Pam Wade at 731-415-3935.

 Carroll County Chamber Golf Tournament

The Chamber’s golf tournament will be held on Thursday, November 19, 2020, at Carroll Lake golf course.  Tee-off will be at 12:00 noon.  There will be no ceremonies prior to or following the tournament.  Only eighteen teams will be allowed to compete in the golf tournament.
