Congratulations to BMH –  Carroll County Radiology Team

The Baptist Memorial Hospital Carroll County Radiology team has received ACR Mammo Accreditation. ACR Accreditation is recognized as the gold standard in medical imaging. This helps assure patients they are receiving the highest level of image quality and safety by documenting that the facility meets requirements for equipment, medical personnel and quality assurance.

In the Fall, they also installed digital breast tomosynthesis (tomo). Tomo is known as a 3D mammography that is a revolutionary new screening and diagnostic breast imaging tool to improve the early detention of breast cancer.

Baptist Diabetes Education Program Accredited by ADCES

The Baptist Diabetes Education Program has achieved the significant milestone of accreditation by the Association of Diabetes Care & Education Specialists (ADCES). Accreditation represents a high level of quality and service to the community, and the ability to better meet the needs of Medicare recipients and others affected by diabetes in Northwest Tennessee. The program will be offering education sessions at Baptist Memorial Hospital Carroll County on Tuesdays and Thursdays.

25 Students Graduate from Youth Leadership Carroll County

Youth Leadership Carroll County is divided into four sessions covering an enormous amount of information. Topics included personal finance, team building, demographics, recycling, personal correspondence, personal safety, mental health, agriculture and more. Students visited Associated Publishers, Carroll County 1,000 Acre Recreational Lake, CSI, Dynamix Casting and Fluxes, Webb School, Tennessee State Veterans Cemetery, Carroll County Government, and many other places. 

The class of 2020-2021 are Allie Chappell, Andrew Murphy, Ashlyn Drewry, Bethany Miller, Briley Lankford, Brooke Butler, Carson Warman, Carter Cary, Clark Bradley, Emily Reeves, Hope Coleman, Jaycan Martin, Kailyn Tucker, Kaleb Coleman, Lauren Mansfield, Lyndsey Summers, Maria McMackins, Myles Rogers, Noah Hampton, Perfect Lor, Sarah Derryberry, Sydney Page, Thomas Crews, Tyler Johnson, and Wade Smith.
