Bassmaster National Junior Championship

Fifty-four teams from twenty-eight different states came to Carroll County for a four-day experience of a lifetime. The Bassmaster National Junior Championship was held at the Carroll County Thousand Acre Recreational Lake. This marks the seventh time that a Bassmaster National Championship has been held on the Carroll County Thousand Acre Recreational Lake. The event is sponsored locally by Bethel University and the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce. This event brings hundreds of people to Carroll County. According to one family member of a fisherman, Carroll County should feel the positive impact of the tournament. He went on to say he had spent $2,000 locally during his stay. Thank you to all of our local businesses and people for the hospitality shown to our visitors. There were so many positive comments!
