CERTAINTY

 John’s declaration that in Jesus Christ, God “became flesh” (John 1:14), assures us that He is with us and will not abandon us, that He reveals Himself to us so that we may know Him and what He is like, that He has created us and why He created us, that He loves us and has a purpose for our life, that He pursues us wherever we may wander from Him, that He will never give up on us or quit loving us, that He brings light and truth into our darkness and ignorance, and that He gives us eternal life in Heaven.
