Paul reminds us in I Corinthians 13 that God’s love is eternal, faithful, suffers constantly and endlessly for us, never fails, gives up in defeat or ends, that God, who created our life through Jesus Christ, is constantly concerned about us, keeps no record of our sins, agonizes over us, suffers and dies for us, reduces chaos into order in our life, is our light in the darkness, is raised from death into life for us, saves us, gives us a new life, a new direction, and the glory of heaven, for all eternity.
