Jesus Christ’s directive, “Worship the Lord your God, and serve Him only” (Matthew 4;10) can only occur when Jesus Christ, who is God’s Messiah and, who, alone, resisted Satan’s temptations, created us, forgives our sins, recreates us into a new person, gives us genuine solitude, a new mind and outlook, enables us to resist Satan’s temptations, trust Christ to guide us, fill us with His spiritual solitude, knowledge, strength, faith, hope, and mission, and give us eternal life in heaven.
