Paul’s affirmation, “To me, to live is Christ” (Philippians 1:21), reminds us that God, who created us through Jesus Christ, also re-creates us from the old person we were into a new persons through Christ who transforms us, forgives our sins, removes our guilt, gives us a new awareness, concern, strength, value, courage, hope, joy, meaning, purpose, blessedness, significance, importance, fulfillment, victory over death, and a new life that is eternal, all of which God provides out of His grace.
