Luke’s affirmation that following God’s resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, Jesus “gave many proofs that He was alive” (Acts 1:3), not only then but also in the present, future, and eternity, that we no longer have to continue living a life that is brief and insignificant, but that He through whom God conquered death, takes our hand in His nail-scared hand, leads us out of monotony on the Emmaus Road and gives us a new life that is filled with endless adventure, splendor, and significance.
