Celebrating Carroll County businesses Aug. 26 C

As Carroll County continues to celebrate its Bicentennial, the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce wishes to recognize and congratulate those businesses and institutions in our county that have been in continuous operation for 100 years or more.  The Carroll County Chamber of Commerce will recognize four century old plus businesses on Friday, August 26, at 10:00 am at the McLemoresville Activities Center.

The four businesses to be recognized are: Bethel University,  Carroll Bank & Trust, Centennial Bank and Espey Cotton Gin.

“It is important to reflect on Carroll County’s great history, and, by recognizing these century-plus businesses and institutions, we are acknowledging their success in our county,” said Brad Hurley, President of the Carroll County Chamber of Commerce.  “Small businesses are the backbone of any community, and they certainly are in Carroll County.”

We hope you can attend.

Further ceremonies will be held in different locations throughout the county in the coming weeks.

If you have any questions, please contact the Carroll County Chamber office.
