Carroll County students receive scholarships to attend UTM

Several Carroll County students have been awarded scholarships to attend the University of Tennessee at Martin for the 2022-2023 and 2023-2024 academic years, according to Dr. James Mantooth, executive director, Office of Enrollment Services and Student Engagement.
•Aubrey Abbott, of Huntingdon, daughter of Johnny and Lacye Abbott, will be a freshman. She received the Excellence Scholarship.
•Lia Fuller, of Huntingdon, daughter of Amy Fuller, will be a freshman. She received the Excellence Scholarship.
•Elijah Miller, of Cedar Grove, son of David and Karen Miller, will be a freshman. He received the Chancellor’s Scholarship.
•Carolina Vela, of McKenzie, is a graduate student. She received the Lewis International Travel Scholarship, the Sandra Koch Travel Grant, the Center for Global Studies Scholarship and the Tom and Yukari Hyde Global Scholarship.
•Megan Wood, of Westport, daughter of Jodi Wood and Michael Wood, will be a freshman. She received the Excellence Scholarship.
•Morgan Wood, of Westport, daughter of Jodi Wood and Michael Wood, will be a freshman. She received the Chancellor’s Scholarship.
