•Randy Callahan of McKenzie told deputies on March 1 that a black Ruger 22-caliber rifle valued at $400 has come up missing from his home on Cardinal Drive over the past couple of days. He said he is not sure if it was stolen or misplaced.

•Justin Devary, 35, of Hot Springs, Arkansas, was charged with possession of schedule (methamphetamine) and driving on a revoked license, as well as drug equipment and firearm violations, during a Feb. 25 traffic stop in Huntingdon.
Deputy Ryan Hamilton reported that he pulled over a vehicle driven by Devary on East Main Street due to a plate violation. After getting Devary’s consent to search the vehicle, the deputy found approximately 1.3 grams of a substance believed to be meth, a Taurus G2C pistol, three bongs, and one syringe during that search.

•Heather Lashea Ecker, 36, of 3515 Highway 77, Trezevant, was charged with DUI and violation of implied consent during a Feb. 26 traffic stop in Trezevant.
Deputy Cody Coleman reported that he pulled over a vehicle driven by Ecker for a display of plates violation near the intersection of Main Street and Power Station Road. While speaking with Ecker, Coleman detected the odor of an alcoholic beverage. The deputy noted that Ecker’s speech was slurred, she was unsteady on her feet, and she performed poorly on field sobriety tests. Ecker refused to submit to a blood-alcohol or breath test.

•Deputies are looking into the recent theft of a utility trailer from private property in Atwood.
Salem Lamar told deputies on Feb. 23 that his 6.5 x 12-foot dovetail trailer valued at $1,300 was taken from his property on Hamilton Street. Lamar said the trailer was last seen on camera on Feb. 22. Lamar said the trailer has a drop gate, diamond plates, and was made by JT Manufacturing.
