Police Pursuit

•Michael Lynn Deloach, 59, of Nashville was arrested on multiple charges following a vehicular pursuit on Feb. 5 in Carroll County.

According to the report by Deputy Christopher Adams, a Bruceton police officer began a pursuit of a vehicle driven by Deloach on Broad Street in Bruceton, and Deloach continued to evade officers through Huntingdon and then on Highway 77 toward Henry County. Deputies deployed spike strips on Highway 77, and that proved effective in stopping the vehicle. Deloach was placed under arrest by the Bruceton officer.

Theft

•Deputies are investigating the recent theft of a trailer in the West Carroll area.

Scott Rimmer told deputies on Feb. 2 that his water trailer was stolen from private property on Old Trezevant Road. The trailer was described as red and yellow with a 1,625-gallon capacity, a 212-cc pump, a 35-gallon mixing tank, a red chemical rack, and 15-inch tires.

Counterfeit Bill

•Deputy Frank McGee reported that a counterfeit $100 bill was passed off to a cashier at the Dollar General Store in Cedar Grove on Feb. 9 by an unknown person before being detected at Regions Bank in Milan.
