Murder Warrant
•Anthony Vermillion, 27, of 187 Oak Street, McKenzie, was arrested on an active out-of-state warrant for murder on April 2 at the Carroll County Sheriff’s Office.
According to the report by Deputy Christopher Adams, Vermillion came to the Sheriff’s Office to speak to deputies about death threats being made against him and his family members. While Vermillion was there, it was found that he had an active warrant for murder out of Franklin County, Ohio. Vermillion was taken into custody without incident.

Bail Order Violation
•Deputy Tony King reported on April 4 that Timothy Bryant Park, 33, of 43 McKendree Lane, Huntingdon, violated an order granting bail by visiting a residence on Park Street in McLemoresville.

Drug Possession
•Kelly Rae Cease, 30, of New Johnsonville was charged with possession of marijuana and methamphetamine with intent during an April 5 traffic stop at Maytown Road and Buena Vista Road near Huntingdon.
Deputy Steven Scott reported that he pulled over a vehicle driven by Cease for failure to maintain lane. Cease gave Scott permission to search the vehicle and then handed the deputy a bag containing 27 grams of marijuana and 4 grams of methamphetamine. Cease told Scott that she was selling drugs to try to make extra money.

License Violation
•Alfonza J.T. Duffy, 30, of 13975 Paris Street, Huntingdon, was charged with driving on a suspended license (sixth offense) during an April 6 traffic stop by Deputy Steven Scott in Buena Vista.

Suicide
•According to a report by Deputy Adam Meggs, deputies responded to a residence on Hilliard Road near McKenzie after receiving a call about a woman shooting herself.
Upon arrival, deputies found that Dale Reeder, 69, was dead from a self-inflicted gunshot wound to the head.
