Multiple Arrests

•Taywone Devon Hart, 44, of Wildersville; Marlon Devon McClerkin, 46, of Huntingdon; Linda Carol Warren, 44, of Huntingdon; Kayla Carter, 30, of Huntingdon; Kevin Wayne Kelley, 43, of Bruceton; and Ashton Warren, 20, of Huntingdon were all arrested on various drug and/or weapons charges during a Feb. 20 warranted search by officers near Huntingdon.

According to the report by Deputy Cody Walker, he and other deputies served a search warrant at 545 Holmes Mill Road. During that search, deputies found a plastic baggie with methamphetamine residue in Carter’s purse and a marijuana blunt on her cigarette pack; three firearms, several baggies with a crystal-like substance in them, and items of drug paraphernalia in a drawer belonging to McClerkin and Linda Warren; a plastic baggie with .7 grams of a crystal-like substance and a pipe belonging to Kelley; and a pipe with narcotic residue belonging to Hart. Also found in the residence were three digital scales, five pipes with residue, two needles containing a clear liquid, and a vile containing a pink powder.

DUI

•James Paul Forrest, 36, of 509 Hill Court, Huntingdon, was charged with DUI on Feb. 25 in Huntingdon.

According to the report by Deputy Chance Townes, he responded to a call about a vehicle with a flat tire on the side of Maytown Road at around 6:30 p.m. Townes made contact with Forrest, who told the deputy that he was the driver of the vehicle with the flat tire. While speaking with Forrest, the deputy noticed that Forrest’s speech was slurred, and when asked if he had been drinking, Forrest told Townes that he had consumed three beers and that he was carrying a twelve pack of beer in a plastic sack. Forrest performed poorly on field sobriety tests.

Armed Robbery

•Deputies are investigating the recent armed robbery of an Atwood man in McLemoresville.

According to the report by Deputy Michael Smith, Haydon Mann told deputies on March 2 that he had been robbed at 5885 Main Street in McLemoreseville. Mann said that he had gone to that address to meet a man named Wyatt to purchase vaping cartridges. Mann said that when he got there, Wyatt got in his car and then a black male came up to his window, put a gun to his mouth, took his wallet and his car keys, and then the two suspects fled in a grey or gold car. Mann later found his keys in grass near his vehicle. Mann said the stolen wallet contained $150 in cash and identification cards.
