Theft

•Deputies are investigating the recent theft of items from private property near Huntingdon.

Joseph Foster told deputies on Nov. 24 that a 2006 Honda Rincon 680 four-wheeler valued at $8,000 and a 1250 ESAB plasma cutter valued at $1,500 were both stolen from his shop at 16240 Highway 77. Foster said that the theft occurred some time late Saturday night, Nov. 21, or early Sunday morning, Nov. 22.

•Deputies are looking into the recent theft of items from the mailbox of a Huntingdon resident.

According to the report by Deputy Frank McGee, Gilda Kilgoar told deputies on Nov. 20 that items she ordered from Amazon were taken from her mailbox at on Joshua Lane by a person or persons unknown on two different occasions. These items included a pair of Carhart jeans valued at $50 that were delivered on Oct. 27 and a Bull Capt. wallet valued at $30 that was delivered on Nov. 16.
