Aggravated Assault
David Charles Jock, 67, of Hollow Rock was charged with aggravated domestic assault on 01-14-23.
Officer Winberry received a call stating David Jock came after the victim with vice grips causing her to fear for her safety. He put his hands around her throat causing red marks around her neck. No medical attention was needed.

Drug Violations
Helen D. Coleman, 67, of Gleason was cited for simple possession of schedule II oxycodone.
On 01-15-23, Deputy Scott stopped a vehicle for speeding. The driver, Helen Coleman, appeared nervous. Coleman did give consent for officers to search the vehicle. Officers located seven round white pills identified as oxycodone.

Aggravated Assault
Nathaniel Britton Cawthon, 22, of Cedar Grove was charged with domestic aggravated assault.
On 01-14-23, Deputy Scott responded to a call-in reference to a domestic. Upon arrival, officers spoke with Nathaniel Cawthon who stated his girlfriend attacked him, hitting him several times. The girlfriend stated Cawthon attacked her and choked her. Then punching her in the back of her head. Cawthon has no visible injuries, as the girlfriend had a visible knot on her head. Cawthon is seen as the primary aggressor; he was taken into custody.

Drug Violations
Clinton Dale Mann, 39, of McKenzie was charged with possession of schedule VI marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia.
Officer Crowe performed a traffic stop due to brake lights not working. The driver, Clinton Mann, appeared nervous while giving the officers consent to search. Officers located three grams of marijuana as well as five needles used for meth.

Vehicle Theft
On 01-18-23, Deputy Scott responded to a call in reference to a stolen vehicle. Upon his arrival, Deandre Hunt, stated his girlfriend came home from work and left the keys in there like always. Hunt advised officers he noticed the vehicle was gone when he went to grab her cigarettes from the car. Hunt stated it could possibly be a family member, but refused to give a name. In conversation with Hunt, another call was received in reference to a wreck. The vehicle was confirmed as the stolen vehicle. Dispatch confirmed neither Hunt or his girlfriend had a driver’s license. Both parties denied they were driving the vehicle during the wreck. THP arrived and worked the scene.
