Theft

On 01/09/23, Rickey G. Doyle reported that his 2002 Heliz Hummingbird 12 Fish Finder was taken off his Hummingbird Mega 360. Report was filed for insurance purposes, Fish Finder values around $2600 and Hummingbird Mega 360 estimated damage valued to $1400.

All other Larceny

On 01/05/23, in Carroll County, Terry Tatum reported his white 2002 14-foot enclosed trailer was stolen off his property. Tatum last seen the trailer on 01/02/23 and valued at $3000.

Multiple Charges

Lisa Renee Montgomery, 55, of Atwood was cited with possession of schedule II (meth) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 01/07/23, a traffic stop was conducted for driving behavior. The driver, Lisa Montgomery, hit her brakes roughly five to ten times before abruptly pulling over. Montgomery was very adamant about getting to work on time so she was not late. Yet she backtracked and changed her story stating she was already over an hour late to work, yet still pulled over abruptly. The deputy gained reasonable suspicion of criminal activity at play. He was denied consent to search the vehicle. K-9 arrived on scene, gave a positive alert for the vehicle. Officers located 0.5 grams of methamphetamines and a small black straw with residue.

Drug Violation

Patricia Lynn Keathley, 53, of Camden was charged with possession of schedule II (meth and methadone) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 01/08/23, Deputy Meier conducted a traffic stop. The Deputy communicated with the driver, Patricia Keathley, explaining that he felt there was criminal activity going on to due to her behavior of not letting him talk much, handing him a $20 bill instead of her driver’s license. She was also telling the deputy where she was going and what she was doing before he got to the vehicle, continuously stating she should have just stayed home. Officers located three glass pipes used for meth with a white residue, a plastic bag with orange powder substance that field tested positive for methadone and a small bag that tested positive for meth.

Drug Violations

David Lee Hampton, 56, of Buena Vista was charged with possession of schedule II meth and possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 01/07/23, Deputy Walker went to serve a warrant on David Hampton. Upon his arrival, he began searching for Hampton, he located a meth pipe as well as lose meth in Hamptons bedroom. Hampton admitted to the meth and was transported to jail for booking.

Multiple Charges

Chase Austin Norden, 25, of McKenzie was charged with felony evading, reckless endangerment, possession of schedule VI as well as possession of drug paraphernalia.

On 01/10/23, Deputy Scott made contact with Chase Norden at BP gas station, for an active warrant. Norden was aware of the deputy as he pulled onto HWY 423. Deputy Scott initiated his blue lights and sirens. Norden eventually wrecked out, was taken into custody.  Officers located one gram of marijuana and a glass pipe with residue in his possession.
