Carroll County SCD Tree Giveaway March 5th

The Carroll County Soil Conservation District (SCD) will be hosting their annual tree give-a-way for Carroll County landowners on Friday, March 5^th, in honor of Arbor Day.  The species of trees to be given away this year include (500) White Christmas Pine, (200) Bald Cypress, (200) Willow Oak, (200) Silky Dogwood, and (200) Native Sweet Pecan.  Trees will be given away beginning at 8:00 a.m. at the USDA Service Center, located at 630 High Street in Huntingdon.  For more information on the tree giveaway, or any other services provided by the Carroll County Soil Conservation District, please call (731) 209-4153 ext.3.
