Carroll County General Sessions Report

The following are cases were bound over to the Grand Jury last week in Carroll County General Sessions Court:

•Bobby J. Cantrell, Herrell Street, McLemoreville, bound over on charge of domestic assault.

•Billy Joe Cruse, Highway 641, Sugar Tree, bound over on theft, burglary, driving while revoked. An additional charge of theft was dismissed.

•Jannie Diana Leone, Kay Avenue, McKenzie, bound over on charge of allowing dogs to run at large-bodily harm.

•Jesse Ray Matamoros, Holland Drive, Clarksville, bound over on charge of aggravated assault.

•Jerrod Williams, Cedar Street, McKenzie, bound over on charges of failure to appear, sexual battery, aggravated assault, domestic assault, violation of order of protection.

The following cases resulted in a guilty finding or plea:

•Brock Henry Daggett, Paris Street, McKenzie, guilty, simple possession, $250 fine.

•Will Fleming, Laurel Drive, Lawrenceburg, guilty, reckless driving by intoxicant, $350 fine, six days jail, supervised probation for five months, 24 days; dismissed, implied consent, driving on roadways laned for traffic.

•Joseph Forrest, Sylvis Road, Dickson, guilty, theft, $50 fine, $43.75 restitution, no contact with Walmart-Huntingdon.

•Joshua Lynn Hearn, Winchester Road, McKenzie, guilty, unlawful drug paraphernalia, $100 fine, unsupervised probation for 11/29, guilty, theft, restitution of $14.99 to Eagle Food Mart, no contact order issued; dismissed, tampering with evidence.

•Ty Landon Hendrix, Old Gordon Road, Wildersville, guilty, spotlighting deer, $50 fine, not to hunt for one year, forfeit weapon, unsupervised probation for six months; guilty, hunting from aircraft, watercraft, motor vehicle prohibited, $50 fine; dismissed, violation of deer, bear, wildlife boar, turkey hunting regulations.

•Bobby Lynn Malugen, Moore Creek Road, Buena Vista, guilty, plea to lesser offense to driver’s license must be carried, 10 days in jail; dismissed, speeding.

•Larry B. Martin, Bobbitt Road, Bruceton, guilty, driving while revoked, 48 hours in jail, unsupervised probation; dismissed, improper lane change.

•Tiffany Marie McCord, Holmes Street, Trezevant, guilty, worthless check, $212.66 restitution to Little General-Trezevant, supervised probation for 11/29, guilty, failure to appear, $10 fine, 10 days in jail.

•Michelle Ridgeway, Highway 114, Hollow Rock, guilty, forgery, $1,679.79 restitution to victim, supervised probation for 23 months, 28 days; dismissed, probation violation.

•Don Eugene Rogers, Rogers Lane, Bruceton, guilty, public intoxication, $25 fine.

•Joshua L. Snead, Tank Range Road, Huntingdon, guilty, probation violation, domestic assault, 90 days in jail, $350 fine.

•Nicholas Warren, Linden Street, McKenzie, guilty, meth-possession or casual exchange, $750 fine, 30 days in jail, supervised probation for 10/29. (This is not the pharmacist).

•Geneice Diane Wharton, West End, McKenzie, guilty, allowing dog to run at large, $25 fine, $391.40 restitution to victim, 11/29 unsupervised probation.

•Devin T. Wildridge, Lakeshore Drive, Lexington, guilty, spotlighting deer, $50 fine, not to hunt for one year in Tennessee, forfeit weapon, unsupervised probation; guilty, hunting from aircraft, watercraft, motor vehicle.

•Derrick Roshawn Brooks, Tower Road, Huntingdon, dismissed, probation violation.

•Dana Milton, Buck Ditch Road, Huntingdon, dismissed, probation violation.

•Stephen Nicole Smith, Spring Street, Huntingdon, dismissed, driving while suspended-second offense.

•Tabatha Swatzell, Reynolds Street, McKenzie, dismissed, child abuse, neglected endangerment.

•Dennis Leon West, II, Liberty Road, Greenfield, dismissed, disorderly conduct.

There was one chase adjudicated through pre-trial diversion:

•Sarah Jane Briley, Smyrna Road, Huntingdon, pre-trial diversion on shoplifting charge, $27.69 restitution, no contact with Walmart-Huntingdon.
